I think of this as perfect summer music...you can imagine leaves rustled by the breeze, grass underfoot, all that. The perfect backdrop to a lovely summer day.

I don't know why instead of pushing in to the body and facial expression of the conductor at his emotional hight in the very last moment of climax, the Western producers have this bad habit of zooming out from the conductor, which is a core of the orchestra, is it their bad habit of giving credit to everyone as a gesture of ' equality'? That I don't know. Bad camera work spoil everything, killing the visual excitement as we are not able to see facial expression of the conductor at the precise moment when the great music come to a halt.

Absolutely terrific concert with amazing music from all three great Trilogies represented, and beautifully performed by the Netherlands Philharmonic! John Williams is without a doubt the greatest film composer of all time! I have had the good fortune to see Maestro Williams perform live twice, in 1987 and 2017... Two of the greatest moments of my entire life that I'll never forget! "May the Force be with you, John Williams... Always!"
